Frequently asked questions
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can request an appointment through the client portal or contact form on my website. Once submitted, I will reach out to you for a brief consultation at no cost to you.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We will talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what's been feeling heavy for you, and what you would like to see change. You don't need to have everything figured out - we will begin clarifying goals together and mapping out a direction that feels realistic and supportive.
Do you accept insurance?
I am in-network with select insurance plans. Because every plan is different, I encourage clients to verify their specific benefits, including copays, coinsurance, and deductibles.
How much does therapy cost?
Individual Therapy (50-minute sessions): $200Couples Therapy (50-minute sessions): $230If you will be using insurance, your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your specific plan. We will review your financial responsibility before we begin session so there are no surprises.
How often will I attend therapy?
Most clients start with weekly session to build momentum and create meaningful progress. Frequency is based on your goals, needs, and insurance guidelines. Most insurance companies authorize one session per week.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
I do offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots that are available based on financial need. If cost is a concern, you are welcome to reach out and we can discuss options.
Do you require sobriety to begin therapy?
Not necessarily. If recovery and sobriety is a goal you have in mind, I would not expect you to already be sober with minimal to no support.
Do you offer telehealth?
Currently, sessions are only available in the office setting. Telehealth sessions will be available in the near future.
